Soccer Game Preview: Vista Grande vs. Cholla

The Vista Grande Spartans will venture away from home to face off against the Cholla Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Vista Grande and five for Cholla.

Vista Grande fell victim to Catalina Foothills and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the Falcons are ranked 26th).

Meanwhile, Cholla also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 14-0 to Walden Grove on Wednesday.

Cholla's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Vista Grande, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7-1.
