Soccer Recap: Howard vs. Cary Academy
After flying high against Heritage Leadership Academy last Tuesday, Howard came back down to earth. The Howard Eagles lost 4-0 to the Cary Academy Chargers on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 6-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Howard's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Cary Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3-1.
Howard will be playing in front of their home fans against Wayne Preparatory Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cary Academy, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome St. David's at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Cary Academy is facing St. David's at the right time seeing as St. David's is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
