Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Burbank couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They had to suffer through a 63-13 loss at the hands of the Pflugerville Panthers. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Burbank still got an impressive performance from Keven Hernandez, who threw for 139 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 97 yards. Israel Zapata also helped out with an impressive 103 receiving yards.

A big part of Pflugerville's win came down to the chemistry between Cole Taylor and his top target Kyran Mcfrazier. Taylor threw for 409 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 80.8% of his passes while Mcfrazier picked up 215 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Mcfrazier showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 51 yards. Rhyder Miller was another key player, rushing for 110 yards and a touchdown.
