Basketball Recap: Rockland Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Rockland lost against Aberdeen back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 46-39 to the Tigers.

Despite the loss, Rockland saw an underclassman step up: freshman Mahana Hatch shot 60% from the field on her way to 13 points and eight rebounds. Those 60% field goal percentage set a new season-high mark for Hatch. The team also got some help courtesy of Harmony Boyer, who posted eight points and six boards.

Rockland's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Aberdeen, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Rockland will head out on the road to challenge Hansen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aberdeen, they will be taking part in a tournament against West Jefferson at 12:30 p.m. on December 4.
