The Christian Brothers Cadets made easy work of the Lutheran South Lancers on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Christian Brothers never let Lutheran South on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Lutheran South lost, don't look at Cody Abbas. Despite the final result, he had 18 digs. Abbas is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 14 or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Christian Brothers is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-13-1 record this season. As for Lutheran South, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6-2.
