There's no place like home for Warren, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the General McLane Lancers with a sharp 16-6 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won four in a row.

Alexis Jones was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Danika Abbey also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Warren always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Warren's record now sits at 7-4-1. As for General McLane, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Warren and General McLane will both be playing McDowell the next time they take the field. The Lancers will head out to face the Trojans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Dragons will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
