Poplarville dropped to 3-3 on Friday, ending the team's six-game streak of wins on the road dating back to last season. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 35-34 to the McComb Tigers. The matchup was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Hornets couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the loss, Poplarville still got an impressive performance from Tylan Keys, who rushed for 285 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. Keys' rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 130 rushing yards dating back to last season.
