Basketball Game Preview: Alpha Academy Timberwolves vs. Thomas Academy Eagles

The Alpha Academy Timberwolves will face off against the Thomas Academy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Alpha Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Thomas Academy likes a good challenge.

Alpha Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against FAITH Homeschool on Thursday as they made off with a 68-48 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Thomas Academy played against Lab University Christian Academy Varsity last Friday and lost via forfeit.

Alpha Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Thomas Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Alpha Academy and Thomas Academy were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup two weeks ago, but Alpha Academy came up empty-handed after a 63-62 defeat.
