Basketball Game Preview: Memphis Cyclones vs. Quanah Indians

Memphis is 2-7 against Quanah since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Memphis Cyclones will take on the Quanah Indians in a holiday battle at at 6:15 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Memphis made off with a 44-43 win over Wheeler.

Meanwhile, Quanah entered their tilt with Highland Park on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Hornets, posting a 61-24 victory. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Quanah's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for Memphis, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-6.

Memphis came up short against Quanah in their previous matchup back in January, falling 39-35. Can Memphis avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
