Basketball Recap: Galileo Wins Going Away Against Lowell

There's no place like home for Galileo, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took down the Lowell Cardinals 55-41 on Tuesday. That 14 point margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

Galileo's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dean Belayadi, who went 8 for 15 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darryn Wong, who posted 12 points.

Galileo's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Lowell, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Galileo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-37 loss against Leland on the 19th. Lowell has also already played their next game, a 53-49 defeat against Napa on the 19th.
