Brookfield East entered their tilt with Nicolet on Wednesday with 14 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 15. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Maggie Czajka paced Brookfield East's offense, picking up seven kills. Czajka got some help from Hailey Schneiker and her 13 assists. Emily Dooyema controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Brookfield East's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Nicolet, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Brookfield East will take on Divine Savior Holy Angels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nicolet, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Slinger at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
