It was a good run, but Mercer Island unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Bellevue Wolverines, falling 3-0. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Mercer Island's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mercer Island's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1-1 and their overall record down to 12-3-1. As for Bellevue, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-3 record this season.
