It was a good run, but Pasadena Memorial unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Dawson Eagles by a score of 4-3. The Mavericks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2016.

Pasadena Memorial's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-6-1. As for Dawson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

While Pasadena Memorial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
