Basketball Game Preview: Marlboro Central Dukes vs. Rondout Valley Ganders

The Marlboro Central Dukes will start their season against the Rondout Valley Ganders. Tip off is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Rondout Valley is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dover.

Rondout Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

As for Marlboro Central, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (7-9), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.

Marlboro Central was able to grind out a solid win over Rondout Valley when the teams last played back in February, winning 55-43. Will Marlboro Central repeat their success, or does Rondout Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
