Soccer Recap: Biloxi Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arnold, Biloxi was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Lincoln Trojans onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 42nd in Mississippi, while the Trojans are ranked 164th in Florida), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Biloxi has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6-1 record this season. As for Lincoln, they now have a losing record at 4-5-3.

Biloxi has already played their next game, a 7-0 loss against Arnold on the 4th. As for Lincoln, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Ocean Springs on the 4th.
