The Rocky Mount Academy Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Wayne Country Day Chargers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rocky Mount Academy has four straight victories, Wayne Country Day has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Rocky Mount Academy took on Epiphany on Thursday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons.

Rocky Mount Academy got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 35-5.

Meanwhile, Wayne Country Day lost 3-0 to Harrells Christian Academy on Wednesday.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-6, 25-7.

Rocky Mount Academy's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Wayne Country Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-16.

Rocky Mount Academy took their victory against Wayne Country Day in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
