Softball Recap: Castle Rock Comes Up Short

Castle Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-2 to the R.A. Long Lumberjacks. The Rockets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lumberjacks from their previous meeting back in May of 2019.

Castle Rock's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for R.A. Long, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.

Looking ahead, Castle Rock will take on Toutle Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ducks have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for R.A. Long, they will square off against Kelso at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
