Soccer Game Preview: David Thibodaux vs. Erath

The David Thibodaux Bulldogs will face off against the Erath Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Erath will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: David Thibodaux extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Bulldogs' defense stepped up to hand Kaplan a 3-0 shutout. David Thibodaux might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Erath challenged Opelousas on Monday. The Bobcats were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Tigers. Erath haven't had any issues with Opelousas recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Erath's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for David Thibodaux, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3-1.

Everything went David Thibodaux's way against Erath when the teams last played back in January of 2025, as David Thibodaux made off with a 7-0 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
