Volleyball Recap: Lincolnview Lancers vs. Bluffton Pirates

After flying high against Hicksville on Saturday, Lincolnview came back down to earth. The Lancers fell just short of the Bluffton Pirates by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Lancers haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lincolnview took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-17, 20-25, 25-21, 15-10.

Despite the defeat, Lincolnview saw an underclassman step up: freshman MaKayla Marsee had six digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Marsee.
