Basketball Recap: Sterling Comes Up Short

Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans, falling 53-28. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-20 back in January.

It was another big night for Elie Bstandig, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 22 boards for Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer. Another player making a difference was Laramie Glathar, who posted eight points.

Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Sterling nor Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer have any future games scheduled.
