A.C. Reynolds is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over West Rowan. That's two games straight that the Rockets have won by just one run.

Meanwhile, Tuscola got the win against Stuart W. Cramer on Thursday by a conclusive 9-1. Considering the Mountaineers have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Bo West was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Amos Rich also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Tuscola was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stuart W. Cramer only posted a batting average of .200.

A.C. Reynolds' victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Tuscola, their record now sits at 20-5.

A.C. Reynolds beat Tuscola 9-5 in their previous matchup back in February. Will the Rockets repeat their success, or do the Mountaineers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
