Basketball Game Preview: Gettysburg Warriors vs. Waynesboro Indians

The Gettysburg Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Waynesboro Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gettysburg is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Gettysburg is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against Spring Grove, falling 54-22. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Waynesboro blew past Shippensburg, posting a 57-24 victory. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 684th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gettysburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Waynesboro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Gettysburg came up short against Waynesboro in their previous meeting on January 3rd, falling 61-50. Can Gettysburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
