Soccer Game Preview: Everett vs. Malden

The Everett Crimson Tide will venture away from home to square off against the Malden Golden Tornados at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Everett will be strutting in after a victory while Malden will be coming in after a loss.

Everett's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over Medford. The victory continues a trend for Everett in their matchups with Medford: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Malden has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 16. They fell 2-0 to Lynn English on Tuesday.

Everett's win bumped their record up to 4-5-4. As for Malden, they now have a losing record of 3-4-3.

Everett beat Malden 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crimson Tide since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
