Everything went their way against the Providence Catholic Provets on Monday as the Jefferson Mustangs made off with a 52-27 win. The Mustangs pushed the score to 49-17 by the end of the third, a deficit the Provets cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the defeat, Providence Catholic saw an underclassman step up: freshman Selene Cedillo earned 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for Cedillo.
