Soccer Game Preview: Joliet West vs. Oswego East

The Joliet West Tigers will head out to take on the Oswego East Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Joliet West will be strutting in after a win while Oswego East will be coming in after a defeat.

Joliet West barely beat Shepard the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Astros on Saturday. The matchup marked Joliet West's most dominant victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Oswego East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Oswego. Oswego East fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Oswego since Thursday.

Joliet West now has a winning record of 6-5-2. As for Oswego East, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

Joliet West couldn't quite get it done against Oswego East in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 5-3. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
