Soccer Recap: Manistee Comes Up Short

Manistee entered their contest against Montague on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Mariners fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2. If Manistee were looking for revenge after losing 7-1 to Montague when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Manistee's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4-1. As for Montague, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Manistee will face off against rival Whitehall at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Montague is set to square off against their familiar foe Fremont at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
