Volleyball Game Preview: Campbell Spartans vs. Marietta Blue Devils

Campbell is 0-10 against Marietta since October of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Spartans will head out on the road to face off against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. Marietta took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Campbell, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Campbell beat Pebblebrook 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Campbell was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Marietta came up short against Walton on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost seven in a row.

Campbell is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-13 record this season. As for Marietta, their loss dropped their record down to 16-11.

Campbell couldn't quite get it done against Marietta in their previous meeting back in August of 2022 as they fell 2-0. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
