Frankford was handed a 38-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thomas A. Edison Owls, sneaking past 55-52. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Pioneers were the better team in the second half.

Among those leading the charge was Doron Ross, who posted 24 points and eight boards. Brandon Oakman also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Despite the loss, Thomas A. Edison still got an impressive performance from Kevin Vasquez-Hernandez, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 14 points. The dominant performance also gave Vasquez-Hernandez a new career-high in shooting accuracy (71%). Ahmir Ponder was another key player, putting up six points.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 8-15. As for Thomas A. Edison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.

Frankford has already played their next match, a 74-60 defeat against Roxborough on the 21st. Thomas A. Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
