Basketball Recap: Berea Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Berea, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with an 81-71 win over the Barbourville Tigers on Thursday. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Berea's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Barbourville, they now have a losing record at 6-7-1.

Berea wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-46 win against Portland Christian on the 31st. As for Barbourville, they will welcome Corbin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Corbin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Barbourville likes a good challenge.
