Softball Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Notre Dame couldn't beat Arroyo Valley on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Titans fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 8-7. The Titans have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Shea McCann made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Eliana Lomeli was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Notre Dame now has a losing record of 10-11-1. As for Arroyo Valley, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-8-2.

Notre Dame has already played their next contest, a 9-2 victory against Bell Gardens on the 15th. As for Arroyo Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Edgewood on the 15th.
