Tooele won the last time they faced Hillcrest and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Buffaloes were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Huskies. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Buffaloes.

Luis Garcia made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Gabe Sutherland was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Ethan Jenkins also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Tooele kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in ten consecutive matchups.

Tooele's record now sits at 5-12. As for Hillcrest, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

Tooele will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Huskies: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
