Volleyball Recap: Conway Takes a Loss

Conway lost against Myrtle Beach back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Seahawks. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Conway was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Myrtle Beach's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-23.

Madeline Green paced Conway's offense, picking up seven kills. Green really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 11.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Myrtle Beach, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Conway will head out to square off against St. James at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Myrtle Beach, they have already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Ben Lippen on the 13th.
