Baseball Recap: Lakeside Christian Comes Up Short

Lakeside Christian came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Indian Rocks Christian Eagles, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Lions haven't been shut out since back in March.

Lakeside Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Indian Rocks Christian, their win bumped their record up to 14-10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lakeside Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Canterbury at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Indian Rocks Christian will take on rival Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
