Brecksville-Broadview Heights will head into Friday's match on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Solon on Friday. Brecksville-Broadview Heights blew past Solon 78-56. Given the Bees' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Comets are ranked 416th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bridget Barber out in front who went 6 for 13 on her way to 21 points. Ashley Perdion was another key player, going 8 of 11 en route to 18 points along with four steals and three blocks.

Meanwhile, Nordonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 47-39 to Hudson.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights' victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Nordonia, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
