Volleyball Game Preview: Allatoona Buccaneers vs. Perry Panthers

The Allatoona Buccaneers are taking a road trip to face off against the Perry Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Allatoona is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Jackson as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Allatoona was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-8, 25-8.

Allatoona found their leader in sophomore Ashlyn Jones, who had six aces and three digs. Another player making a difference was Lk Lamonica, who had seven digs and three aces.

Meanwhile, Perry had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons.

Perry's win bumped their record up to 23-12. As for Allatoona, their victory bumped their record up to 35-10.
