Basketball Recap: Neptune's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Neptune won the last time they faced Jackson Memorial, and Tyeera Howard did her part to make sure it happened again. The Neptune Scarlet Fliers came out on top against the Jackson Memorial Jaguars by a score of 43-33 on Tuesday thanks in part to Howard, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Neptune and bumps their season record up to 8-10. As for Jackson Memorial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neptune will take on Lacey Township at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jackson Memorial, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against St. Rose at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
