Basketball Game Preview: Port Huron Red Hawks vs. Anchor Bay Tars

Port Huron and Anchor Bay are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. The Port Huron Red Hawks will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Anchor Bay Tars at 7:00 p.m. Port Huron will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Port Huron will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating L'Anse Creuse, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Port Huron enjoyed a cozy 52-37 win over L'Anse Creuse on Thursday. The contest marked the Red Hawks' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Anchor Bay escaped with a win on Thursday against L'Anse Creuse North by the margin of a single free throw, 48-47.

Port Huron's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Anchor Bay, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-3.
