Football Recap: Oconee County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oconee County played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Morgan County Bulldogs, falling 35-14. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 24-13 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Oconee County lost, don't look at Brody Hannah. Despite the final result, he rushed for 88 yards, and also threw for 88 yards and one TD.

Christian Monfort went supernova For Morgan County., rushing for 239 yards and three scores while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. Those 239 rushing yards gave Monfort a new career-high.

Oconee County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Morgan County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
