Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Kansas City Christian School walked away with it. They walked away with a 66-53 win over the Oskaloosa Bears on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their 29-point performance the contest before.

Oskaloosa's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Subelka, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 13 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Subelka a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Richie Rockhold, who posted 14 points.

Kansas City Christian School has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points over those games. Oskaloosa has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
