Baseball Recap: Potosi Takes a Loss

Potosi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the DeSoto Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Monday.

Potosi saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Blair, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Potosi's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for DeSoto, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Potosi will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Arcadia Valley at 4:30 p.m. on the 13th. As for DeSoto, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Festus at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
