Baseball Recap: MISL CTX Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

MISL CTX came into Tuesday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the San Antonio HomeSchool Wolverines by a score of 6-2 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Crusaders: when they faced off against the Wolverines on April 13th, they had to take a 4-3 defeat.

Elias Salazar and Finn Butler did most of the damage at the plate: Salazar went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double, while Butler went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. That's the most hits Salazar has posted since back in February.

MISL CTX's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for San Antonio HomeSchool, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-11-2 record this season.

MISL CTX does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Antonio HomeSchool, they will take on Cornerstone Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
