Basketball Recap: Drew Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Kian Chan and Nicholas Ordonez-Reyes

Drew was the 57-36 winner over The Bay School when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Drew Dragons fell to The Bay School Breakers 72-66. The Dragons just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Drew's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Nicholas Ordonez-Reyes, who went 9 of 14 from beyond the arc on his way to 30 points and four steals, and Kian Chan, who posted 22 points and five assists. With that strong performance, Ordonez-Reyes is now averaging an impressive 19.5 points per game.

Drew's record is now 4-10. As for The Bay School, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Drew will take on Jewish Community at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Drew is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.1 points per game this season. As for The Bay School, they will challenge International at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
