Football Recap: Tipton Gets the Win

Tipton was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the Fair Grove Eagles by a score of 28-21. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Cardinals were down 21-7 in the second quarter.

Tipton has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 21 points this season. As for Fair Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tipton will host Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fair Grove, they will be playing at home against Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
