Volleyball Recap: San Tan Charter Comes Up Short

San Tan Charter lost against Benjamin Franklin back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Roadrunners lost 3-0 to the Chargers. The Roadrunners' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-8.

Coleson Bowen was the offensive standout of the match as he had 36 digs and one assist. Those 36 digs gave him a new career-high.

San Tan Charter's record now sits at 0-6. As for Benjamin Franklin, they moved to 12-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, San Tan Charter will square off against ALA - Anthem South at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Benjamin Franklin, they will challenge Gilbert Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
