It was a good run, but Country Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 7-2 to the Colton Vikings.

Country Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Colvin, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Country Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Colton, they moved to 4-8-1 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Country Christian will face off against Blanchet Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Colton, they will challenge Western Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
