Soccer Game Preview: Highlands vs. Live Oak Classical

The Highlands Blazers are taking a road trip to challenge the Live Oak Classical Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Highlands fell victim to Shelton and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. Highlands have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Live Oak Classical had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past Bishop Gorman 5-1 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Live Oak Classical sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

They hit Bishop Gorman with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jack Rainey (2), Jake Anderson, Beckett Davidson, and Holden Hayes.

Live Oak Classical's win bumped their record up to 13-0-1. As for Highlands, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
