Volleyball Recap: Orlando Science Takes a Loss

The Orlando Science Orcas lost 3-0 to the Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks on Tuesday. The Orcas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Orlando Science was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Cornerstone Charter Academy's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-22.

Cornerstone Charter Academy found their leader in freshman Liam Dinsmore, who had 17 digs and three aces. The dominant performance gave Dinsmore a new career-high in digs.

Orlando Science's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orlando Science will challenge Forest Lake Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, Cornerstone Charter Academy and Trinity Prep will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
