Basketball Recap: Beaver Takes a Loss

Beaver was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 62-30 defeat at the hands of the Arnett Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Dusters can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Wildcats are ranked 81st).

Beaver now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Arnett, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beaver will challenge Laverne at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Arnett, they will be playing at home against Leedey at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
