West Valley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-13, 25-19.

Tumwater's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4-2. As for West Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4.
