Soccer Game Preview: Cocke County vs. Gibbs

The Cocke County Fighting Cocks will venture away from home to challenge the Gibbs Eagles on Tuesday.

Cocke County is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Fulton just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Gibbs got the win against Scott on Wednesday by a conclusive 5-1. Considering Gibbs have won six games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Gibbs and bumps their season record up to 10-8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two contests. As for Cocke County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
